Hotel is directly on the beach.
We had an efficiency room. Any issues in the room (TV remote and table lamp) were immediately addressed. Outdoor entertainment at the Sandbar was very good. Decent drink prices.
This is for the restaurant and not for the hotel. Overall, it's pretty good. You will need reservations most days. Food is good quality but pricey. Sushi is excellent. Service is good and place is clean. Inside the restaurant is upscale but a little run down and dark. Also very noisy, especially if sitting on the side by the bar area. The outside bar is nice, but selections are a little limited. Overall, it's pretty good and worth the stop. Staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable.
Terrible musty smell!! Called front desk and they only suggested a dehumidifier could be sent up !! Obviously this is a known problem if they have a pack of dehumidifiers waiting .. No offer of a better non moldy room.. Really?? The room was nearly 200$!for one night!! Disgraceful.. I would never stay here again ! Can’t open a window.. air conditioner is off until next year (it’s a warm November) Room is stuffy with no moving air! never again!$$$$$
Location is great the drinks are also great. I’ve eaten outside and the bar food is just ok. it’s a little cold when i got it. only been here for eating.
We have stayed here a few times in the past and always enjoy ourselves. But this visit was especially nice. thanks to everyone at the englside for making our anniversary weekend special, special thanks to Ernesto for being so friendly.
The atmosphere, service & drinks were good. However, we came here based on reviews of the prime rib. Both of ours were very fatty.We ordered the Captain at $38.99 which was sorry to say disappointing.
First off my burger was rare and the bun was mushy. Second off our waitress was very unfriendly she took her time and was moving moving at her own pace.Last but not least they brought my second burger and the slices of cheese were not melted. 👎
If you're going to a wedding or any other event at the seashell resort do yourself a favor save the money and stay at the Engleside. Great location, nice clean rooms and great service.
